Large, lovingly restored, lead windows with decorative detail are the focal point of this room with breath-taking, panoramic, views of the lake and surrounding fells from west and picturesque countryside scenes to the south. This dual aspect room is the ultimate Lake District country house retreat.
The suite enjoys its own decked balcony (again with lake view), accessed from an original arts and crafts door; this is the picture-perfect space to share an early evening cocktail as you enjoy spectacular sunsets over the lake.
The spacious bedroom is open plan and features comfy sofas and armchairs; perfect for sharing moments together following an afternoon out on the fells. Furnishings are locally made and gently nod to the arts-and-crafts legacy of the property. The king-size bed (which can be prepared as a twin if preferred), sits against a panelled backdrop and is in the perfect position to benefit from the lake views in the morning – perhaps as you enjoy breakfast in bed ordered from your room control and concierge tablet.
The generously sized bathroom enjoys a lovely, free-standing, roll top bath taking centre stage as you enter, a large walk-in rainfall shower and a modern style vanity.
