Booking Terms and Conditons

Please note that all bookings made online are provisional until confirmed direct by the hotel (stay@holbeckghyll.com)

Deposits

A deposit of £200 is payable for the first night stay booked, this charge is made on a ‘per room booked’ basis, so for example,  if you booked two rooms for one night, the deposit would be £400. For every additional room night booked a deposit of £50 per room per night is also payable. For example; if you booked one rooms for two nights, this would mean a deposit of £250.00 is payable.
Please note that, should you wish to settle your deposit using a credit card, a 1% transaction fee will be applied (on-top of the due deposit amount). For American Express payments, a transaction fee of 2% will be applied (on-top of the due deposit amount). 


Cancellations

Sadly, sometimes things happen in life which mean your plans may have to change.  That is why we strongly recommend to all our guests to take out travel insurance to cover all eventualities.

For bookings taken directly by our team at the hotel (that are not subject to any specific alternative terms and conditions for cancellation) we apply the following cancellation policy outlined below.  Other accommodation offers may have different cancellation terms and conditions and may be non-refundable and non-transferable; please check the offer carefully or call us for clarification.

If your reservation is amended or cancelled on the day of arrival, the full value of the booking, as outlined in your confirmation details, will be charged.

If your reservation is amended or cancelled between the day prior to arrival and four weeks before that date;

  • A £200 per room per night charge is made for the first nights reservation cancellation
  • A further £50 charge is made per room per night for every additional room night cancellation
  • Any remaining deposit amount paid we will transfer into a voucher for use at any future stay with us. Your voucher will be issued with an expiry date of six months after the confirmed arrival date which cannot be extended beyond this expiry date.

If your reservation is amended or cancelled more than four weeks prior to the confirmed arrival date we will issue you a voucher for the full amount of the deposit, less a £100 per booked room cancellation fee, with an expiry date of six months after the confirmed arrival date which cannot be extended beyond this expiry date.
