Stunning luxury Lakeland four bedroomed house. 

A stone clad Lakeland barn which has been sympathetically converted into one of the most spectacular architect-designed houses within the Lake District National Park, with breathtaking lake and mountain views. The house is surrounded by manicured gardens with sun terraces, attractive streams, outdoor furniture and direct access to the fells for walking.  You can use all the services of the acclaimed multi-starred hotel whilst enjoying the peace and privacy of your own cottage. Perfect for small families and groups of friends, it sleeps up to eight guests.

Lowtherwood can be booked on a self catering basis, however, we are also taking individual room bookings between today and a month ahead, therefore giving individual couples the chance to experience the luxury that is Lowtherwood.

The sleeping accommodation comprises of four magnificent en suite doubles with huge beds (three can be twinned) all equipped with Egyptian cotton linen, lots of fluffy towels and wrap around bathrobes. All rooms have plasma TVs, hairdryers and trouser presses. The bathrooms are truly 'wow' with wet rooms, invigorating twin showers and double-ended baths with mood lighting. In two bathrooms you are able to relax and watch TV!

The large, open plan sitting room has a separate dining area, a characterful wood burning stove that creates warmth throughout the property, in addition to the full central heating and huge French doors that open out onto a balcony. Entertainment is provided by Sky TV and BOSE surround system along with a DVD player, complimentary WiFi and Ipod docking station. There is also a Boot Room for wet clothes and dirty boots with washing machine and tumble drier. A private Sauna and outdoor hot tub completes the line up of luxury facilities.

The house is available on a self-catering basis and the Michelin star chef-designed kitchen has two electric ovens with halogen hobs on a central island, microwave and dishwasher, twin fridge and freezer and warming drawers. The kitchen is fully equipped along with Villeroy and Boch crockery and Riedal glassware.

Individual stays

You can book a room in Lowtherwood and experience the privacy and luxury of Holbecks largest house. The prices detailed in the Rates grid on the right hand-side are per room per night, based on two people sharing a double or twin room.  Dinner inclusive stays include dinner for two people in our Michelin star restaurant with a full Cumbrian breakfast in the hotel the following morning. Our normal booking terms and conditions apply.

Self Catering

Lowtherwood is available on a self catering basis for a minimum of seven nights, Fridays to Fridays. For parties of seven or more wishing to dine at the hotel, you have access to our Sir Henry Segrave Room where a chef and butler will be at your service throughout the evening.  The Sir Henry Segrave Room Menus start from £45 per person and involves the party choosing a common starter, main course and dessert.  Booking the room and choosing the menu is essential and should be done at least 14 days before the evening.

The rental of Lowtherwood on a self-catering basis includes all linen, towels and bathrobes and luxury bathroom guest amenities.

There are six price bands that are applicable over 2014.

Low;         £1,700.
