The rates above are for one bedroom for two people sharing, for one night. We try and get rooms ready from 2pm and ask that you allow us in to clean your room for the next guest by 11am.
Our Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rates include luxury en-suite accommodation, a splendid three-course dinner in our award-winning restaurant and a delightful breakfast menu with locally-sourced produce served wherever possible. Dinner inclusive rates are subject to a minimum of a two night stay.
Bed and Breakfast rates include luxury en-suite accommodation and full English Breakfast.
The above rates are only available when booked direct and are non-commissionable.
We do have some rooms which are available for single occupancy. These rooms are available at half the standard tariff. Should a double room for single occupancy be required then a £50 supplement should be added onto the single occupancy rate.
A deposit of £200 is payable for the first night stay booked, this charge is made on a ‘per room booked’ basis, so for example, if you booked two rooms for one night, the deposit would be £400. For every additional room night booked a deposit of £50 per room per night is also payable. For example; if you booked two rooms for two nights, this would mean a deposit of £500.00 is payable. Please note that, should you wish to settle your deposit using American Express, a transaction fee of 2% will be applied (on-top of the due deposit amount).

Stephen, our owner, is regularly flying around the lakes in his helicopter. Each year he likes to keep up his flying hours and get ever more flying experience, (as do most private pilots.). On certain days he will, subject to weather, be flying and will happily take any of our guests up while he is flying in the local area anyway, for no charge. All you need to do is check with reception on arrival to see if the weather is ok and they will get a message to him to pop by and give you a quick spin.
There is no charge for this service and it is in no way a hotel complimentary service or offering and does not fall under the hotels insurance provisions, therefore you must ensure you have your own travel insurance for this activity as it is a private arrangement between you and the pilot taken for no consideration whatsoever.
