Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

Purchase Terms:

  1. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  2. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
  3. When vouchers are not sent to the billing address, proof of payment will be sent to account holders address.
  4. We aim to have vouchers delivered within 3 working days of purchase, however delivery is not of the essence. We (Holbeck Ghyll) will not be liable for delay of delivery or costs resulting due to late delivery.
  5. On delivery, you must examine the vouchers and provide immediate notice, in writing, of any error or shortage.
  6. If payment is not received (e.g. credit cards are charged back, or accounts remain unpaid), the voucher will become void and must not be used.
  7. If you would like to change the message of a voucher, or split a large denomination voucher into smaller denominations, an additional administration charge may be applicable.
  8. You must not reproduce a voucher or the Holbeck Ghyll logo (or anything deceptively similar) without our prior written consent.
  9. Purchase and supply will be governed by English Law. If we are prevented from providing an obligation caused by circumstances outside of our control, we (Holbeck Ghyll) are released from the obligation and are not liable for failure to perform it.
  10. If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason within our control, we will promptly return all monies.


Redemption Terms:

  1. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  2. An expiry date is printed on each voucher. The voucher cannot be used after this date (including use as a deposit towards services after the expiry date).
  3. Your voucher may be subject to validity (e.g Sunday-Thursday). If restrictions exist, details of this will be printed on the voucher.
  4. If services or products purchased from the hotel are worth more than the voucher, the redeemer can pay for the difference using cash or debit card.
  5. If the voucher is worth more than the products or services purchased from the hotel, the difference will not be refunded and will not be applied to future purchases. If the voucher is not used for the entire amount, the difference will be lost.
  6. Vouchers will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Should you need to send them, we recommend using a secure service.
  7. Vouchers do not provide priority access or guarantee availability on specific dates. All services, products & offers are provided based on availability.
